didactica – continuing education in teaching and learning at UZH and ETH Zurich

The «didactica» programme is intended for instructors and persons involved in teaching at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich at all levels. Its aim is to promote the development of comprehensive teaching proficiency at every stage of the academic career. Based on a model of the fields of activity in higher education, didactica courses cover the entire spectrum of higher education topics. Many courses, titled accordingly, address specific aspects of selected disciplines or certain target groups.

All courses not only provide new input, but also encourage the active processing and implementation of the knowledge gained. The emphasis is laid on critical and discursive reflection and the application of acquired knowledge in participants’ own teaching.
