didactica – continuing education in teaching and learning at UZH and ETH Zurich

Category Description
Content

The «didactica» programme is intended for instructors and persons involved in teaching at the ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich at all levels. Its aim is to promote the development of comprehensive teaching proficiency at every stage of the academic career. Based on a model of different fields of activity in higher education, didactica courses cover the entire spectrum of higher education topics. Many courses, titled accordingly, address specific aspects of select disciplines or certain target groups.

Aims

All courses not only provide new input, but also encourage the active processing and implementation of the knowledge gained. The emphasis is placed on critical and discursive reflection and the application of acquired knowledge in the participants’ own teaching.
Target group Faculty and staff members involved in teaching at the UZH and ETH Zurich
Requirements

The courses offered in didactica are open to instructors of all schools and departments. In order to enable all people interested to attend, we may limit the number of participants per school and department if necessary.
