Beschreibung

Against the backdrop of a global rise in non-communicable diseases (NCDs), traditional interventions often fall short in addressing complex chronic and mental health conditions. Digital health technologies offer an unprecedented opportunity to bridge this gap and transform patient care.

This CAS equips forward-thinking professionals with the interdisciplinary frameworks—spanning medicine, computer science, economics, and management—required to harness these innovations. The programme explores viable business models and targeted clinical applications, with an emphasis on precision digital therapeutics and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) to deliver the personalized interventions, in the right amount, at the right time.

Key Learning Outcomes:
Analyse Digital Health Business Models: Understand the commercialisation, economic drivers, and strategic management of modern health technologies.
Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Critically assess the role of digital tools in the prevention, monitoring, diagnosis, and continuous management of chronic conditions.
Design Applied Interventions: Develop digital biomarkers using wearables and design, implement, and evaluate smartphone-based, chatbot-delivered health programmes.
