Target Audience

Board-certified cardiologists or medical doctors who have completed at least two years of clinical training in cardiology with a primary interest in modern heart failure management

CHF 2000.– in total, including registration, exam fees and course material; excluding travel and accomodation costs to Zurich (one module in Brussels)

Description

Heart Failure (HF) will be the new epidemic of the 21st century. Regarding this unmet medical need, the objective of the Postgraduate Course for Heart Failure (PCHF) is to offer a high quality education and to train a new type of cardiologist proposed by the curriculum of the ESC. Course features range from clinical assessment including imaging techniques, treatment strategies from pharmacotherapy to cardiac devices and invasive procedures to patient care in end-stage heart failure including destination therapy and transplantation.
The course features will be lectures, workshops with patient cases, hands-on exercises and live-transmissions.
The international aspect of the course is reflected in the advisory board, teaching faculty and students from all over the world.
The entire course comprises 160 teaching hours and 140 hours of structured self-study with E-learning-modules.
The course language is English.
