In-person classes on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings. |
Duration |
The study programme lasts 20 half-days over a period of 10 weekends. The programme starts in March2026 and ends in June 2026 (not including examination days). The course days are scheduled taking into account public holidays and Zurich’s school vacation. |

Target Audience |
This course is recommended to lawyers who are already working as in-house counsel in a company or who would like to prepare for a move to the legal department or legal service of a company. The CAS Inhouse Counsel is also of interest to professionals who want to better understand the challenges faced by an in-house counsel and be able to advise them more efficiently. |
Fees |
Early bird: CHF 8'000.– if you register by 30 November. Regular price: CHF 8'500.– if you register by 31 January. The course fee includes the costs for the digital course materials, the examination fees and the graduation ceremony. Costs for any excursions and special literature are not included. |

Description |
The course provides present and future in-house counsels with an introduction to relevant areas of the working methods of people working in the position of in-house counsel. This includes in particular areas such as legal strategy, compliance, risk management, corporate governance, contract drafting, litigation and dispute management and other important areas of law. In addition, participants will acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of personnel and leader effectiveness, project management, people management, etc., which are necessary for successful in-house counsel. The program combines academic teaching and research with practice and at the same time promotes professional, methodological and social skills. The course is held in English. |

Application: 31 January via the application form on the website. Depending on capacity, registrations submitted after the deadline may also be considered. The course will only be held if there is a sufficient number of participants. Start date: March 2026 |
